I assume this is the reason you asked about extractions. Personally, I hate them. They are so time consuming and impossible to get right. If you have a solid, contrasting background(for example a white wall behind the person), you can use the magic eraser tool and get the majority of it and then just clean it up with the eraser tool. Unfortunately, most pictures aren't specifically set up for extractions so you just have to zoom in tight and use your lasso or eraser tool.

A neat effect but it took me as long to do that page as it does to do 3 regular pages so really not worth it.

I didn't even think about doing it zoomed in. Yeah it took a while, but when I saw the "Ho" I knew I had to make something!! :)
