Pallet Shelf
A few weeks ago I came across this awesome blog Knock Off Wood. It is basically plans for building your own furniture, mostly Pottery Barn inspired furniture. We have been working on a big project that is almost complete, look for pics soon... But yesterday I decided I needed to build some of these pallet shelves. I love them, and will be making several more for our house this weekend (as soon as Mike brings home more pallets!) And I did it all by myself! Well almost, I needed a little help cause the wood was warped, but if it hadn't been I would have done it all by myself!

Changing table makeover
Cloth diapers take up a lot more space then disposables, and since I just reused old storage containers they looked pretty messy on the shelves. So I decided to buy some fabric that would go w/ our room (where the table is) and hemmed it and stapled it on.

Much better! Yes it also helps when you pick the crap up off the floor!

Baby Slings
I made the boys baby slings for Christmas, I found the pattern in this book. They were surprisingly easy to make- so I won't feel too bad if they hardly ever play with them... Rowan always wants to "wear" kitty whenever I have Eli in a carrier and I did try making him a Mei Tei last year- remember? But these turned out much better than that one!
